| Hello all!
I am glad to say that not only did I survive the Whitechapel pit (see previous post if you are confused), but I survived my finals as well! Honestly I thought surviving finals was less likely...
But yes, although I still don't know what my grades are in all my classes, I'm glad it's over! Time to do it all again next semester...
So my goals for this small break are:
1) Finish getting the house ready for the people moving in next semester - I'm really close on this, but I still have a few key things I need to finish, including getting the final inspection called in..
2) Catch up on my reading! I don't think I finished a book for fun this whole semester...which saddens me greatly...Oh well I did finish a few audio books, but those don't count...
3) Letter correspondence..as soon as it arrives, for which I am very impatiently waiting...
4) Learn to cook Chinese food well...or at least a few different recipes. I can cook just fine, I just don't really know where to look for good recipes and I want to try them out before I get to school so I can take my time with them.
5) I would really like to catch up with old friends, so if any of you guys are actually in town and want to hang out give me a call/text/e-mail/facebook message/whatever! I miss your beautiful faces!
I think my list should stop there...although in an ideal world there are about a million other things I'd like to accomplish, I am going to limit myself to those so I might actually be able to do everything on the list!
peace!

| Hello everyone,
Please keep me in your collective prayers this coming week...it's going to be the most intense week I've had in a very long time...most people would say "well isn't next week Dead Week?" and yes, yes it is...supposed to be. Apparently Letu didn't get the memo when it came to the idea of dead week..it's the week in which you can prepare for the upcoming finals..
This semester I have 4 tests and 3 projects due...during Dead Week.
As I said...it's going to be a caffeine filled, sleep deprived, ragged, hellish, week. BUUUUUT I'm excited about the way that it is going to begin!
Tomorrow, I'm doing the completely irresponsible thing and going to a concert...it's probably going to last until midnight or so, then I'm going to drive back to Letu and stay up (probably) all night working on said projects.
Yes, I know that's probably a bad idea...but this may be the most INTENSE concert I'm ever going to experience in my life...The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, For Today, and Enter Shikari...Heads will roll..faces will be pummeled. It will be a mosh pit for the record books I'm sure..and I'm going to be riiiiiight in the middle of that sweaty, beautiful mess. Because honestly, I really need a good mosh pit right now. I have too much pent up and this is really what I NEED to release it.
It's going to be fantastic. I may die.
Peace
Cp
P.S. for those who actually know the bands mentioned, I don't understand how this lineup came to be either...for those who DON'T know these bands...well to put it simply, on the one hand we have The Devil Wears Prada and For Today...both very openly Christian bands. For Today is actually one of the most hardcore Christian groups out there right now...and on the other hand we have Whitechapel and Enter Shikari...actually just Whitechapel. Just don't look them up if you feel curious. Don't. Anyway, it should be interesting to say the least!

| My goodness.
This week has been incredibly trying. I'm pretty sure If I weren't so busy I would be much more prone to complaining!
I'm sure no one wants to hear me rant, so I will spare you.
On to good news!
The renovations for my house are nearing completion!! Everything is done except for the final touches on the full bathroom, adding insulation in the attic, the backsplash in the kitchen and the floors!
I'm so pumped..the house is looking even better than I imagined it would when I bought it, and I am going to be soooo happy when everything is done! It should be within a couple weeks now..so close!
In other news... This week is the week I catch up! On school stuff at least! I'm so close on that front too! Barring any crazy unforeseen circumstances I should be able to finish up all the Mechanical Vibrations homework that I lack and be ready for the test on Thursday! If I can get a good grade on that test I will be in GOOD shape for the final and that is really the only class I'm super worried about.
Man...I've been complaining (at least in my head) about how crappy this week has been, but when I really stand back and look at my life...it's pretty freakin awesome! I mean I am a homeowner at 23, close to graduating basically debt free (thanks to my amazing parents) from a great school with a double major and triple minor (and on top of that the school has 100% job placement for my major like 10 years running). I'm healthy, I don't lack for money for the things I need...life is good my friends. Screw the harrowing week.
That is all.
Peace :)

P.S. if you are looking for some super fun music, check out Two Door Cinema Club! Lovely!

| There are too many things going on right now. I have so many projects at work, the house, personal stuff, it's all floating around in my head.
It won't stop, so I get back on the computer to try and knock a couple of things off my to-do list for tomorrow..today. Whatever.
Oy. This summer is gonna kill me dead.
BUT. My verse that I'm memorizing this week: Philippians 4: 4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always ; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
So much easier said than done..it's definitely a work in progress...

I have too many sad posts on my subscriptions right now.
Go listen to Bobby McFerrin, watch some Psych or Chuck or something like that, and post about how fantastic life is!
Kthx!
